Help Make Videos

  • In order to figure out what chapter to work on, contact saadumar04@gmail.com to figure out any available chapters

  • Make a 2 - 5 minute video, clearly explaining the neuroscience topic at hand

  • The video can be of you talking into a camera, writing on a slide using a device such as a graphics tablet, an animation video, or a combination of several styles

  • If you choose to do a screen recorded video, you can use different screen recorders such as screencastify, quicktime, or screencast-o-matic. Screencastify and screencast-o-matic have built in editing softwares.

  • Softwares include premiere pro, final cut pro, imovie, and camtasia. However, most of the editing softwares that I mentioned actually cost money. If you want to try some of them, feel free and see which is most comfortable for you.

  • All images and audio in the video must be original or free to use

  • The content in the video must also be appropriate for all ages and preferably able to be understood by the general public

  • Once you starting making your videos, you will receive a document listing some video topics you can make based upon the chapter you are working on

  • You must submit one video every week if you choose to get involved with the video development team

  •  Completed videos should be submitted to the Brain Boys Google Drive

  • You can make as many videos as you want per week but it is preferable that the video submissions to the Google Drive are spaced out evenly

  • Once your video is placed in the Brain Boys Google Drive, there will be a revision process to make sure the information is correct

  • If the information is not correct, the produced of the video must edit the video to make sure all of the information is correct or refilm the entire video
